When Gus Guerra ventured off on his own to perfect the iconic, Detroit Style pizza, http://cloverleaf-pizza.com/about-cloverleaf-pizza/ he probably didn’t know the dish would become beloved in metro Detroit. That his children grew the brand and expanded it is, IMO, a gift to pizza eaters like me.
Cloverleaf opened an outlet very close to our home last week. And we welcomed them to the neighborhood by getting delivery of a traditional round cheese pizza with onions & green peppers last night. It. Was. Terrific!
