Plan B for lunch today. Weights + Measures is a restaurant, bar and bake shop and the main retail outlet for Slow Dough Bakers with baking done on premises.
I was looking for a charcuterie plate but they had this pressed salumi sandwich. Couple of types of salumi, ham, cheese, red peppers, on a pressed ciabatta roll, plus house-made chips and bread and butter pickles.
I was too full to contemplate any of the pastries but I did score a loaf of pumpernickel from the Bake Shop. I’ve had a thing about pumpernickel lately and Slow Dough makes the best one in town.
