I received a Wegmans email today explaining how to sign up for their new delivery service. I didn’t peruse it thoroughly, since at present I don’t need groceries, but it looks like Instacart isn’t involved (hurray!). Unfortunately, when I skimmed the inventory in a few departments, it was clear that the online choices are severely limited, lacking the items I buy at Wegmans because they are either unavailable or very expensive at the other supermarkets in my orbit. I hope that once the service is running smoothly, the virtual shelves will contain a greater variety.
