The good news is that food supplies seem to be holding up in war-torn Portland. I saw no shortages at the PSU farmers market this morning, and there were even holdout strawberries, retaining their sugar almost into October. If you’re thinking of heading this way to sample our city’s interesting eating options, there’s no need to take out a bigger life insurance policy, pack your camos, etc.
