I hate to contribute to the growing popularity of this restaurant for personal reasons. I want it all to myself. For Vietnamese food in Manhattan, Vietnam Restaurant on 88th & 2nd always appeals to me and my family. Took my group there just last night after a school performance and it was good as usual…the dumplings, spring rolls, string beans, pho, curried shrimp, chicken with noodles.

I mix it up between meat and seafood. But on my last visit I enjoyed the beef, brisket, meatballs and noodles with all the sides: sprouts etc. I sometimes ad some hot sauce, too…
