Vegans/vegetarians who eat meat again

Hi friends! Question for ya: is anyone a former vegan/vegetarian who went back to eating meat? I’m a fellow foodie and dining reporter for NorthJersey.com and I wanted to look into the reasons why people start eating meat again and how it makes them feel (better/worse?). It was all kind of inspired by an article about Anne Hathaway that I read about how she was vegan, then ate fish again and started to feel much more focused. If anyone can relate and would be willing to chat, let me know! I’m so interested!

No human leads for you, but this is good for background:

Yes! I saw that! Insane!

If I might suggest, this is a topic that deserves to be in general conversation and not just New Jersey, though I appreciate that’s the basis for you being here and welcome.

Most definitely! It’s something that’s totally applicable to a broader audience. I thought I’d start out on NJ because y’all are my peeps!

I’m in Oregon, home of many reformed healthy former vegans/vegetarians. Not me however.
I’m a meat guy from birth.

I became a meat eater at 32. We’ll, I ate fish prior to that and fish fingers and other kids foods until 7. But, at 32 u took the big plunge

I used to know someone that went through months-long vegan and carnivorous spurts, on and off, off and on. It was rather maddening. There is no real point to this response except to say that any time he switched from vegan to meat, it ended up with extensive visits to the bathroom.
