Hi all,
I have an appointment on the UWS tomorrow around 86th st. I’ll have enough time for a quick lunch stop. I’ll be solo, which is an unusual and coveted state these days, so wondering if there’s anywhere interesting to grab a bite by myself. I’ll probably have about an hour before I have to get back to Westchester. Haven’t been to the UWS in a minute, especially without a kid. I’ll do a little searching myself in the meantime.

What kind of food?
Han dynasty has lunch specials (cumin anything or dry pot are good). Song e napule is over on amsterdam, as is Flor de Mayo.

Barney Greengrass, at 541 Amsterdam (86-87), would be very convenient, provided you bring cash.

I’d say Han Dynasty or Barney Greengrass as well. Gazala’s is decent. Orwasher’s makes a good bagel if you want something super casual, and then you can bring back some cookies. UWS is generally speaking not a great part of town for stellar or interesting cuisine imho.
