They are both very gentle with us, as opposed to the feather toy I’d gotten them, which turned them into total psychos. We’ve hidden them away & will give them to someone whose cats will see it more as play than a matter of life or death

I picked up a big fish for Jake to wrassle with, and a cute lil white lamb for whomever. Jake’s been having tons of fun with the fish in the crinkly tunnel.
Oh, boy, do they love the tunnel!

A lot of cats are extremely cautious. I bought mine a cozy little teepee tent. It took her about a year to finally go inside and now she’s in there a lot.
I see people giving things away on Nextdoor because their cats ignore things … I think they just give up too soon.

I am hopeful for the super-duper-cozy cat bed to find some use eventually. It was only $10, so I won’t be too salty if it doesn’t happen, but I was imaging the two boys shnuggling up together in there, and so far neither has given it more than a fleeting glance.
If they don’t like it I can always donate to the pound where we got it originally

I bought Parker a bed that he absolutely ignored until I laid a folded up paper bag on top of it. Now he loves it. We also outfitted another one in our office with a heating pad covered with a towel. He likes that one during the winter. But, without mods, they are part of the landscape to him.

I bought two of those giant felt donuts. I see them laying on them or playing inside about once a month. Mostly I kick them out of my way.
Mine looks like a Muppet, almost.
If I were a cat I would snuggle up in there for sure. Just out of pure gratefulness to my parent… BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA right.

Ziggy has one like that. Actually, Ziggy and Mika each had one but they bunked together. He hasn’t been in either since Mika died.
