Parker ignores tin foil, but hates the noise a Slinkie makes, so when he was young thatâs how we trained him if he went on surfaces he shouldnât have. Every cat is different!

Theyâll get past it. Itâs a lot for them to absorb, but it will pass.
My floofy boy lived under the bed for a weekâŚhe had been living in the wild (not feral..heâs too much of a cuddler) so wasnt accustomed to having a box. It was a few days of stinky scavenger hunt to find the corner heâd used.
I ended up getting a new box with lower sidesâŚthis is the one who was badly roughed up by coyotes before the rescue found him, and once he found the box heâd go in front of it. He was still stiff and sore and physically couldnt get in the older, higher box.
I also bought a bag of litter attractant for kittensâŚand it seemed to be the signal he needed. (BonusâŚit smells like fresh cut alfalfa to us hoomans so I didnât mind it at all)

Theyâre both housebroken & know where the litter boxes are, as they use them.
I can only hope this was an accident, as Jonesy got pretty excited over the feather toy I played with him on the bed.

We occasionally find little âpresentsâ on the floor when the cats have left the litter box without completely finishing up.

Oh, my! Our two are currently having an animated conversation in the living room, no doubt planning their next shenanigans!
And we are leaving them for 2.5 days 
Best to remove any valuables from the shelves errrrrrywhere!

Ummm. Not in this house. I donât care for cat saliva from 2 cats near our food. But we will tuck it away in the guest room, and likely buy a couple more today.

Check those plugged in electrical cords that might become chewables. Cover your stove tops with inverted baking sheet pans.

Oh, cables are Mr. #oneorangebraincellâs favorite chewing toy, so yeah. Weâll put as many as possible out of reach 
The stovetop is not an issue. They already party on the countertop at night, no doubt. Aluminum foil was either avoided or swiped out of the way.
Remind me again why we got two cats?
