Chonkster’s morning routine involves waking us up by crying or howling, and if that fails, head-butting either one of us in bed (tho mostly my PIC, as he’s the feeder).
It doesn’t even matter whether his food bowl is full — he needs someone to watch him eat in the morning. So, one of us has to stand there for a few minutes while he wraps his tail around our legs and munches down. Then he usually demands to be brushed, running over to the gym mat we have on the floor. He even turns to the other side when he thinks one side is done.
He also likes to follow both of us into the bathroom (the mats are extra-soft in our pad) and demand more rubs. That is, when he doesn’t decide to go to the bathroom as well 
overlooking his domain
I love him.
