From this weekend. Murphy like to make biscuits while he dries off his tongue for 5 minutes. 9ETA: Yes, that’s a bungee cord on my closet doors; otherwise, Finnegan will pop it open and knock my shoes off their holders OR knock stuff off my top shelf.)

A bungee cord! Hmmm. My last two guy cats have both been inveterate door openers, escape anrtists and mischief makers (doors are lever handles). My late one would remove sweaters from my closet shelves and drag them around, then deposit them at my feet. Only in the winter. It took me years to catch him in the act, I only saw piles of clothing next to where I was sitting or working, and I thought I was losing my mind. He was just trying to make sure I was warm … I think.

This prevents Finny from getting IN the closet. However, if he sneaks in while I’m hanging things up and I don’t see him, he’s able to push enough on the folding doors to stretch the bungee cord just enough to work his fat butt OUT of the closet. And yes, I’ve seen him do it. :::SMH:::

Please say a prayer for Izzy. He’s in the hospital, very sick. Emergency vet just called me, and he probably won’t make it. Just started with symptoms yesterday afternoon.
