Thank you. It has been almost a year since Gucci passed away, and we still think about him. Our new kitty, Giorgio, has certainly eased the pain of his loss.

Awww what a cutie! Is Giorgio squestered or has he met Matisse yet? And how does Matisse feel about having a brother?

Matisse and Giorgio are no longer sequestered from each other. We have let Giorgio out of his cage and he has full access to the whole house, except the basement (and he is taking full advantage of that). Matisse is trying to be friendly. He keeps sniffing Giorgio, but Giorgio is still a little frightened of him. Right now there is a big size and weight difference, (30 pounds vs. 2 pounds), but once Giorgio gets a little bigger, I’m sure they will be fine. I’m impressed with how gentle Matisse is with Giorgio.

This is the closest they have both been next to each other, although Giorgio is still a little frightened, and gives a low level growl. Baby steps
