Your snark aside, I do think @rrems has a point and it’s hardly an inconvenience to post all group dinner invitations in one place, or, at least, links to them.

People who put in effort to organize a meal are free to do it in a way that is convenient to them.
And as you said, we discuss them publicly and ad nauseum.
I don’t disagree, and I do recognize the effort it takes to organize these group dinners.
Still, I mildly (unusual for me) offer this as a suggestion: If a link to such dinners can be posted in this one place it will allow people who don’t read multiple threads a place to find these invitations.
A small suggestion, no more, and not worth further argument.
