An email I got today led me to wonder which restaurants operate under which umbrella, and what the name is of the umbrella. I know, for example, that Oleana, Sofra, and Sarma are interconnected, but under what corporate name? Also Puritan & co, Geppetto, et al. In this case I have an answer: The Cambridge Street Hospitality Group.

That Puritan & Co menu looks great! I have eaten there the last few times I have been down in Boston to meet a friend for dinner and we have been wowed each time. Both food and service excellent.
I got a similar email about Dine Out Boston from Harlow Hospitality Group/Josephine in Somerville. Other members of Harlow Hospitality are Alden & Harlow, Waypoint and The Longfellow Bar.
Sofra website says they are the second location of The Oleana Restaurant Group. https://www.sofrabakery.com. I don’t see any mention of The Oleana Restaurant Group on the websites of Oleana or Sarma.
Newport Restaurant Group includes Bar ‘Cino and Papa Razzi, both of which are in the MetroWest suburbs, as well as a bunch of places in RI.
This would make an interesting compilation. ChatGPT comes up with 7 Boston restaurant groups, but misses those already mentioned and some others. Jody Adams? Karen Akunowicz? Atlantic Fish/Abe & Louies? I’m sure there are more.
