Shout out to Tutto Italiano in Hyde Park. After all these years, it’s still got excellent sandwiches and the best Italian around. I’m the first one to gripe about feeling taken advantage of by certain pricing at eating establishments around here. However, a large Italian sub that fed two of us was $13. Good people, quality ingredients, fair prices, I love it.

My favorite place… for years! In addition to their wonderful sandwiches, they have quarts of homemade frozen soup which are also excellent as well as their frozen pastas and prepared meals. Lots of great imports from Italy. They import their own olive oil from olive groves they own in Italy. I wish I lived closer.

One of my favorite spots. I don’t go there as often as I’d like to but it never disappoints, even if you sometimes get stuck in long lines. Their marinated eggplant from their deli case is scrumptious. Their marinated artichoke stems too. And the staff is super nice - even when they’re slammed. Never ever had a bad experience and their sandwiches are also superb. Glad I’m not the only fan
