Stopped into this relatively new gelateria on our way home from a trip to Rosedale Nursery. The location, on a busy and unlovely stretch of Commerce Street near the Metro North station, is awful. However, the gelato was delicious! While their product is not up to the standards of gelaterie in Rome (or even NYC), it is definitely gelato, and not ice cream masquerading as such. Texture is dense and a bit chewy. Pistachio was the winning flavor but we also enjoyed the coffee and cherry (although they need to use a tarter, proper amarena cherry for the topping because whatever they are using made the whole thing far too sweet). Worth a stop if you’re in the area!
