I can’t believe that I have not posted about this gem in Melrose that opened very recently in what used to be the upstairs at Stearns & Hill’s Bistro. I have been a few times for lunch and the food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the prices at lunch are more than reasonable for what you get. A lunch Chirashi with a divers scallop for $10? A heaping platter of Tatsuta-age chicken for $7? Today I had the Panko Shrimp, that turned out to be six BIG shrimp with an excellent remoulade sauce. I also had the Lunch NIGIRI & SASHIMI ($12) and got charged $10, so that made it even better. Look at the size of the serving in the picture. It’s kind of weird having sushi in a steakhouse environment, but I like it.
If you haven’t looked into Groupon+ you should. No coupons, just money back.
