Trash pizza

Aside from the commendable commitment to reducing food waste (dump the cilantro and I’m all over the mentioned pie!), the making caramel from banana skins is a new one on me. If you don’t have a rose garden to fertilize with the skins, you may want to explore this option…
It would be great if ice cream parlors turned the peels from their banana splits into sundae topping.
