Lunch at the mall. The Real Greek is a small national chain, currently with 26 outlets including a couple in Greater Manchester. We’ve been to one of the London outlets years back and had a nice lunch (which I remember most for having the TV actor, Neil Pearson, sat on the next table – perhaps my closest brush with stardom)
We both ordered flatbread wraps. Nicely chewy doughy flatbreads wrapped around tomato, red onion, chips (yeah, CHIPS!) and a choice of protein. So, that’s one falafel and tahini. And one loukaniko sausage and “Aegean slaw” (cabbage, carrot, red and green peppers with a olive oil dressing). We shared a small Greek salad – tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, olives and feta.
Decent lunch.
