A friend and I had lunch there today. I had their excellent Carne Alentejana (Marinated Pork & Little Necks) was $15.95, now $22.95. My friend had a pan-fried rabbit that was on special. It looked really good, and while chatting with our waitress (the daughter) afterward, I asked how often the rabbit was on special? Now and then, she said. I then jokingly said, could you call me when it’s back? Sure, she said, let me get a piece of paper. I was floored, never expected that answer. How that for customer service! Made my day. She said that they do this for a number of customers. We also split the grilled octopus ($19 ouch), but it’s fantastic.
