I noticed this trend years ago on Milwaukee’s soutside with Mexican places. Place opens up, amazing food. Humble place, but amazing food for the price. Then, they add on a big addition, fancy menus… food goes to hell. Go look for another freshly opened place. Conejitos, Tres Hermanos, La Fuente, Cielito Lindo all had similar demises.
