As Pedro says, the only way to know is to check it out! And I agree completely with the âwhimsical one and doneâ.
It kind of reminded me of Tickets in Barcelona( I went in 2014), fun and whimsical with tasty bites and I guess everyone should try it at least once? Another place Iâm glad I went to, but no need for me to return.
@PedroPero
Exactly!

The dining spot that I love in the Ponzano area that may or may not be on your radar is LAKASA.
While not on Calle Ponzano, itâs close by, around the corner on a large square, Plaza Descubridor Diego de OrdĂĄs. Itâs one of my favorite Madrid bistrots.
This is where we could happily dine once a week, and one that we try to include on our âponzaningâ (what Madrileños call doing a food and drink crawl on Calle Ponzano). Food critics love it, the chef is both very talented and tireless, and his wife is French, so count on excellent mussels and a fine French cheese board from Bernard Antony for dessert.
I see that La Primera opens at 9.30 am. Would I be able to have the tortilla and cheese cake for breakfast there?
Also, what are their other specialties?
Thanks

Weâve had tortilla for breakfast there but I donât know about the cheesecake.
Their other specialties: croquetas, pudĂn de cabracho, rabas (what calamares are called in Cantabria),
buñuelos de bacalao, merluza, flan
