Tin Building Flop

Who can afford $4 a month to read Grub Street. I think I get the gist based on comments on Instagram. As I said there, its a nice Food Hall that you visit once or twice and then forget about. Congestion pricing may be the final nail. Like Gotham West Market, the most important thing with food halls is location, location, location. They got none of the three.

I read that article this morning for free. You get a few freebies every month, and when they run out, you can use private browsing.

As to the Tin Building, I went once and did not see anything that compelled me to return.

We went once and bought an ordinary cappuccino and left because of unfriendly, incredibly pushy service.

We walked through recently and were totally unimpressed. Later in the trip we ended up at the Essex Market on Delancey Street. Had some pretty good pizza and enjoyed the shops and the vibe.
