Thinking of subscribing to "Yes Chef" online cooking classes

Anyone checked this out? They are having a BOGO. Christmas '21 I got a Masterclass subscription. Didn’t use it much; maybe 10 hours, but thinking of renewing. :woman_shrugging: (Why no people of color shrugging? We shrug! )

Is it expensive? And I do see people of colour in the intro?

is there something wrong with my eyesight?

:smiling_face:I meant the emoticons. There are no emoticons with people of color shrugging. :woman_shrugging: :man_shrugging: :woman_shrugging: Should there be a comma or semicolon somewhere?

@damiano, about $120/ year right now.

Okay that makes more sense!

That’s not very cheap though.

Ah gotcha. But I have different shades of people in my emoticons. :woman_shrugging:t6:

:hushed: Okay, you have to tell me how! I have tried so many things, including bringing it up at every opportunity, and selecting it ( which I did just now) .

The color palette on the lower right selects a color theme and doesn’t change the color for an individual emoji. So if you selected the color that’s checked in your pic, you would then scroll down and see which ones are included in that particular color theme. Some of them, like the yellow ones, don’t change.

Personally, I’ve found youtube very helpful for learning how to cook/bake new meals/treats. And its FREE!!
I’ll read about a dish form the weekly meal planning thread or What’s for dinner thread, do a little research then go watch a youtube video. If it doesn’t work out, I can start a thread (here) and there are so many great people on this site willing to help me make corrections.
$120 would buy a nice pan or other kitchen gadget (immersion blender) or something along those lines.

@Desert-Dan , that makes a lot of sense…not that there’s anything wrong with that!
