I stopped off at this place for lunch today. In a new location? I guess it used to be in the original Little Saigon on the other side of Main? I don’t remember it. Now at 2611 San Jacinto, across from Weights + Measures. Very neat and clean modern space with lots of windows, very quick table service. Big crowd on a Sunday morning, mostly Asian families.
I had the Bánh xèo - papery thin, crisp rice crepe with shrimp, pork, onions and bean sprouts. Condiments included Sriracha, hoisin, soy and fish sauce on the table.
I was hoping to get a little chunk of a baguette so I could see if I wanted to come back for a sandwich but this was very filling - probably close to 15" across.
Very good tea.
