Fun idea! Eggs benedict with ham and salad.
For lunch I would go with the 3 course menu, because it seems good value, and I love nothing more than long lunches. I’d be picking the Boston lettuce, steak frites and choux chantily. And some red wine, maybe pinot noir. For dinner, I’d get the Big Mec.
Steak frites & egg side O’ toast, Bloody Caesar
Croque Madam and I’d try the grapefruit mimosa, cause I love grapefruit juice.
So do I! Much preferred over OJ (tho I rarely drink fruit juice).
Me too…too sweet. Fresh grapefruit of any kind.
Crab cake, steak tartare and baguette. Leeks and the Endive salad if I’m sharing with someone.
Bevvy is used as slang in Canada, too. It doesn’t come across as cutesy.
I’d order the Wagyu French Dip or the Trout Almondine.
If only the UK, Canada and the US spoke the same language
Frequently attributed to George Bernard Shaw: “England and America are two countries divided by a common language.”
Then there’s Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.
Right . . .where they speak Aussie, Zealand Africanese.
Breakfast Cassoulet, drip coffee, grapefruit mimosa
Then I’d wish I ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked trout and frites on the side
My order would be all sides: toast, egg, and beans. I’d ask for a dollop of marmalade on the side. Americano (black).
Croque Madame, with a side of blood-pressure lowering meds …
Your order reminded me, minus the bacon and chips, and plus toast, of this blog
How about something like “Bonjour, hi!” . Okay, nvm. I’m tired.
Maybe just stick to g’day mate?
