Dishes I make still bring back good memories of cooking for my Mom (beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce) and having my sister call me for “that chicken recipe you made for us last year!” (both Chicken Cacciatore and Chicken Paprikash).

Comfort food settles the soul, if but for just a moment in time.

I’ll have to think about what constitutes comfort food for me. I see there’s already a thread about it out there that you started a few years ago. I checked if I’d replied, and I hadn’t. Guess I wasn’t sure about it back then.

My PIC’s grilled cheese is def on that list. Chicken noodle soup, maybe… although I tend to only make it when one of us (or both) is sick.

I’ll read your thread for inspo / to nudge my brainz.
