I was very sorry to hear that the Rivera Bakehouse in Ardsley is closing in January. It was the first, truly reliable bakery I found when we moved to Westchester. When I was working, I used to order all my celebration cakes from them. Apparently, the landlord has either decided to not renew the lease or has decided to raise it beyond what they could support. Their cafe in the Tarrytown MetroNorth station will remain open, however, but they will not do cakes at this time.
