One of the premier Houston restaurant families - Funny, I thought they were from South America. The family is from Nicaragua, David was raised on Lymbar Dr. in Meyerland! Whatevs.
The Ion is based on the old Main street Sears store. Haven’t been by but they were removing the steel cladding and restoring the 1939 Art Deco exterior. I wonder if that’s the where the cafe/coffee shop was over-looking the parking lot north of the building?
