As I have been working for a Philly company the last few years I cannot argue with the number one pick at all. Angelo’s has become my benchmark. I don’t know of any other place that makes their own bread and he makes a great loaf.
Many of the others I have not had, nor even heard about.
(as someone who grew up in NY, I love to bash Philly. But it is a great food town.)

The Lillo’s cheesesteak is pretty awesome (as is the Trenton style tomato pie).
I’d love to try both!
