Mont Taco in Montreal had them last year . Might check them out whenever I finally revisit Montreal. I usually visit twice a year. My last visit was in Nov 2019.

I would certainly try one, it looks good as a “burrito”, just not a taco. It’s really not a taco.

If you ever go to Alaska, don’t bother with the Mexican restaurants, just sayin’

Sounds like a hybrid of burrito and poutine. What’s not to like?

Mexico should sue France for defamation of character.

This is a much better article than the New Yorker one

I’m gonna call the French taco a grilled or griddled stuffed super crepe. It’s not a taco but if it’s tasty, who cares. If you want to troll the French, call it a French artisan Hot Pockets®….or a French Pasty. In any case, add another to the very large and inclusive flatbread category, which includes pizza, burritos, gyro, falafel, etc.

It’s also offensive to crêpes. LOL
The one I ate last night was the worst thing I’ve eaten this year.

The year is young. We’ll see whether something tops it in the next 9 months.

I think it might have been the worst thing I’ve eaten in the past 18 months. LOL. The previous prize goes to some really foul shrimp dumplings and deep fried squash in November 2023. I had complained on Reddit and HO, and the restaurant owner was stalking my posts, accusing me of wrecking his business.
