Great, now I want a burger at 10:30am.

Also… Onebox strikes again

How cool! The article mentions a Malaysian burger at Kampar in Philly. Ima hafta try that one :yum:, but honestly a lot of the burgers mentioned in the article sound delish.

I’m hungry too. I got a big bag of poblanos yesterday that I’m planning on roasting for rellenos and other purposes. Might peel off a few for chile cheese burgers for lunch tomorrow. My white whale is a chile pepper jack burger I had a million years ago in Lone Pine, CA.

BLAT burger is my fav these days. Can’t argue that a burger has stood the test of time.

Bacon lettuce avo tomato?

How does it not completely disintegrate when you bite into it?

Only burger I ever liked at McD’s was the McDLT. Add bacon and it would have been the best version of itself.

Yep! The toasted bread holds it together (rye, or hard roll) and I mash the avocado to replace the mayo (slide free).

McD burgers aren’t juicy or thick enough for a BLAT version. But when the pang hits, I def still enjoy that Mickey D blast.

Their beef sucks. All I can say. But that samich was the only one I’d order from there. I’m not a McD’s fan, and would get one when in a hurry or something urgent. The McDLT, though, I remember about as thick as the QP, not the skinny Big Mac patties. B would have improved it, IMHO.

Only a Patty Melt can tempt me to eat that much grease and burger fat, followed by a close second cousin a corned beef Reuben.

That’s funny. One persons fat, is another persons fat.

And that is a fat! Honestly, I don’t like grease and had some major stomach cramps all day. Not worth it, but my OH cooked dinner and that was on offer. He’ll get his tomorrow with a giant ass raw salad.

I would try every one of those burgers. What a fun read!
