The best Goethe in Cincinnati

As a fan of local specialties, I’m eager to try some Goethe for breakfast while I’m in Cincinnati this spring.
Any other local specialties unique (or pretty unique or distinctive? - not including chili)

Do you mean goetta? I don’t think Johann Wolfgang von is gonna be particularly tasty at this point…

HAHAHAHA I had to open this thread because I was like there is regional food in Ohio named after Goethe?

Looks like the same few places are mentioned over and over.

Even though you said no chili, I would mention that Blue Ash seemed to be the roadfood favorite, at least in years past. Seems like the chili places also serve goetta.

Cincinnati was the start of Big Boy being franchised!
Pretty cool :sunglasses:

If an out-of-towner wants to try the best a) goetta b) chili c) mock turtle soup what are people’s favorite spots?

I like to always try the local food, and I’m trying to get a taste of all the classics. What are the tried and tested classics? What are the creative reinventions?

A Reddit thread I couldn’t link

Great! As usual. Many thanks
