This small island south-west of Sardinia is super famous for his high quality tuna. Local supermarkets all have a dedicated section just for tuna produced on the island. The smallest tin is 17,00 (bigger than a standard tin, maybe 2x). They come in several parts/cuts, grades and sizes.
It’s harder to find even on the big island Sardinia, and more expensive! I’m bringing a couple back. Fresh tuna season is in June but I’m here (Isola di San Pietro) now…

My favorite type of conservas are actually razor clams. Briny and sweet - they are so good with rice or with bread!
