We wouldn’t have used a shovel if we had one. So we get down stairs and then what. The roads are still covered in ice/ snow and most around here don’t know how to drive in it, us included.
SE Texas does not do this well.
I went full hurricane/flood mode, stocked up beforehand and stayed home. 
Hope all my fellow Texans are doing ok down there in Houston land. Austin too. Been a rough couple months with the drought and all. Grilled out a few times but careful. First time in 40 years we’ve had water restrictions that I can remember. We’re not big water users anyway but people “in town” must keep their front lawns green…
