Anyone else remember the tea smoked duck form Shangri-La? (I think it was Shangri-La in Belmont, though it’s been so long I could be remembering that incorrectly.)
Has anyone found a very similar dish anywhere, preferably in Boston or “metro west”. (i.e., Quincy is no good.)
Tanks.

Five Spices House in Chinatown and in Cambridge have tea smoked duck on their menu, but I’ve never tried it.

I might have actually had it at 5 Spices, back when I worked downtown. Thanks for letting me know they opened a Cambridge location!
Mulan Cambridge has both smoked tea duck and cold salted duck, I prefer the cold salted duck (less dry)

I’ve had it from the Cambridge location in the past and it was good. Ten+ years ago, though.
Look under cold appetizers. Note the cold salted duck is a big portion!
