Oh no, poor kitty!
She usually is very mannerly about her vomiting - she jumps down and does it on the floor (a note: I have no carpet - and I always, always wear my washable slippers) but this time she didn’t. Her partner in crime - well, the little guy had never thrown up, and I mean never- once in his 5 year life. Until Sunday. He was up on the kitchen counter, next to the sink, badgering me to turn on the faucet, because he likes to drink that way. When , suddenly … Vesuvius … right into the sink! It was gobbled kibble; my garbage disposal (which I rarely use but run and keep clean) did not like the job. I live to serve. I’m trying to figure out what they’d like for Labor Day. Any cat recipes out there? That they won’t throw up?
Irreplaceable is the microplane. I still shower my mom with raises for gifting me one. I use it just like you, and love the result. Parm is perfect in through that thing.
I was gonna say tuna casserole, but found these.
I just gave my grandkitties back to my daughter. Miss 'em already. Don’t miss the vacuuming.
Tuna oil or sardine oil? Our 15+ # black cat has a dose once a week or so for hairball control. He has a ptsd hair grooming issue. He munches on cat nip and grass outdoors. Rarely have we had a puss urp up their recent crunchies, but when they did, I thought it was because of their eating in a hurry. Good luck, kitty ma!
What? No vomiting? The cat hair is the easy part.
Did you cook for them?
One puke for 1.5 weeks, mostly hair.
Like any animal I sit for a time, I rename them them to my own preferences. Dipsht and WhiteCat are their street names. White cat is the mixed colored one. JK.
My boy cat is sneeze central. mucus mayhem. His DJ name is Snotmaster Izz.
Oh look at that face! Looks very Egyptian and sweet!
Her younger brother - she was not happy when I brought him in, to replace his beloved predecessor who died. She was getting used to being an only cat … and she liked it.
Yes. The pandemic masks he’s guarding all had cat designs. This was before we were exhorted to switch to n95s.
Okay, time for the ‘Not About Food—Cats Only Edition’ thread. Others welcome with creating their own threads for other family members.
Like livin’ with Cleopatra. She is lovely.
She knows it.
LOL!! Gotta believe you, there. The cats in my life aren’t so noble…and they know it.
I too knead bread dough by hand as there is nothing like the sensation of feeling it turn from a mixture to snooth kneaded dough. Also whisk double cream using a hand whisk and egg whites too.
I’ve had them, but don’t really care for them. Plus it reminds me of when we had a little laying flock in the yard and I keep thinking of my hens. They had names. I’ll go with the collagen in a bag.
always include a package when i make stock.
I like to peel garlic a clove at a time
