Taqueria San Jose #3, at Mason and Francisco in North Beach, is closed but scheduled to re-open July 12, according to Yelp. However, according to an email I received from nextdoor.com, it recently started sporting a “For Sale” sign.
I’m sort of surprised that it lasted so long (t’s been there for 20 years), as it never did seem to get the business it deserved. Recent negative Yelp reports suggest it may have just given up the ghost.
