Lady eating grapes out the grape bag. I don’t care if she was buying them, why do you need to eat them at the store?
Another lady going through multiple grape bags to pick and choose the best grapes to put in her grape bag.
Same lady pulling apart single bananas from the bunches, again, choosing the best bananas to buy.
The first lady I can get over, the second one really irked me bad.
I am the guy that splits banana bunches of 5 or 6 into two parts so I can buy just 2 or 3 bananas. Worse yet, when I split the bananas, I take the sticker so if the next buyer does not know the code 4011, they are out of luck and will have to spend 15 or 20 minutes scrolling through the “Identify your item” list on the checkout system.
BWAHAHAHA!!!
Me, starting out on my road to evil’ness.
Eh. Lady #1 could be dealing with low blood sugar, and lady #2? Why not pick the best grapes for one’s money? You’re gonna wash them before you eat them anyway, right? Do you know just how many people have touched those grapes, besides lady #2? As for the bananas, I’ve done this for clients when they specified a degree of ripeness for more than a bunch, and I’d have to combine them with single bananas sometimes. I don’t see any issue here either
Tell that to my bra straps. Seriously. These - and purses - are constantly falling off my shoulders. So I will put my purse in the cart. But I won’t leave it. That’s just asking for trouble.
Drifting bra straps. I had to move to sports bras for the time being, and I cannot believe just how much I love them! I may never go back to underwires!
OK, so my question is - is it BOTH shoulder straps that need to be yanked back up, or just one? For me, it’s the left shoulder strap. And my purse goes on my right (but never stays there).
Maybe this is why Joan Collins and Linda Evans had the big shouldamapad clothes on Dynasty?
Our local ones went 2 ways. Some still have the bins. Others not only did away with those, but also every counter that had people behind it (fish/meat/deli/hot) and instead put all those items in packaging on shelves. So there is no one to interact with except the cashier, and you can bypass them too with self check.
I “learned” shopping from my mom and although I don’t do it anymore, she used to always eat a grape from the grape bags as a tester, to see if they were worth buying. I probably did that for a good while and then I just got self conscious about it and stopped.
And it’s annoying. Sprouts (our nearby ‘healthy’ market) used to have a great by the pound salad bar. Now they have only a few items in containers and almost nothing in their deli case like what they used to have in the first months of Covid.
Since grapes are usually weighed at checkout, eating out of the bag before purchase is shoplifting, not snacking. Blueberries or raspberries in a clamshell would be different since they’re priced by the unit.
Running hands through bulk rice is not ideal, but at least it’s not ready to eat food.
Double sided lingerie tape! Also works well for sealing the nose bridge of your 95 mask. And there’ s always staples … or carpet tacks . Only 1 of my shoulders works to carry stuff. I’m lopsided, I guesss.
