We finally tried SumiLicious and we were not disappointed, at least by the food. The meat was tender, flavourful, moist, laced with fat, hand cut, and nicely spiced. Definitely the best Montreal smoked meat in the GTA that we’ve had. Poutine was enjoyable, though the curds were small, in low supply, and didn’t squeak like the best of them. Karnatzel was good, though I am unclear if they make their own. Didn’t bother with the turkey or salami as they were clearly brought in from elsewhere. Would love to order one of the smoked whole birds sometime.
