Took a little road trip up the Hudson for sour cherries today and stopped in to Subversive in Catskill on the way home. Excellent craft beers with a local focus (I had a sour cherry saison and a blackcurrant sour, all made with locally sourced fruit) and good eats. DH enjoyed an IPA and a pale ale. Delicious chorizo fondue to share and a solid burger for DH (my Buffalo chix sandwich was only okay). Beautiful outdoor seating area and a chill vibe. Would definitely return! Forgot to take pics of the food, but here’s a beer shot (cool glassware, too) and a gratuitous pic of the “mascot” at the entrance.
