I tried the “Mr Stripey” variety again this year, 2 plants, harvested only 4 good tomatoes. Just not worth it. I can see why the hybrids rule

Not sure I agree, but there are striped hybrids!

Looks like there’s a Pink Berkeley Tie Dye in the top picture. In Virginia, it makes an incredibly tasty tomato, good acid balance and rich flavor. I have a friend in CA, where it’s cooler, and he complains it’s bland.
Tomato season is over for us.

Awww. Time to start looking at seed catalogs! Here are some I picked yesterday. Hope to get a few more of this.before.I yank the plant after Thanksgiving.
