Taking a break from the usual diner found myself at Stella G’s on Main St in Hackettstown. Looking for something different for breakfast and found it here.
Delicious breakfast tacos with pork carnitas, salsa, guacamole and eggs in flour tortillas. Mmmmm…

You inspired me to head to El Rincon de la Costa in Long Branch this A.M. for huevos rancheros and a breakfast burrito with chorizo.

May have to try that breakfast burrito. I fear that my years in Denver have left me with jaded burrito feelings, but will give it a go.

Thank you for this post. I was somehow under the impression that Stella’s had closed. Perhaps they are under new management? In any case, we need to get back to this wonderful little restaurant. They have THE BEST carrot cake I’ve ever had.

I’m really loving the posts about this area of the state as well. From someone who bought his first LEGAL booze at the shop rite in Netcong at 21, I’m loving this stuff.
