Spice Circle prides themselves on their Karahi dishes which take at least 45 minutes to prepare from the time you order, in order to get that authentic flavor. These dishes are not cheap. The most expensive is a Desi Lamb Karahi at $49. Some clock in at $38. These come in a large karahi that takes some strength to bring to the table. Served along with two large pieces of naan, they could easily feed two. A got the desi bone-in lamb, pictured here:
This was rich with complex spices and was deeply satisfying. If you want it spicier, there were whole peppers mixed in that you could bite into. You’d be hard pressed to find a better karahi anywhere.
As we were three people, we also ordered the lacha paratha omelet, which was wonderful, and a somosa chaat. The pastry for the samosa was next-level. The toppings were faintly sweet, though, so not very interesting. If you are into samosas, this place should be on your radar, minus the toppings.
