I was wondering if there were any new innovative special occasion restaurants in the greater Bay Area (SF, East Bay, North Bay, Napa, South-East Bay) that are not crazy expensive? Need to plan a special occasion dinner and everything I am seeing is greater than $250 PP. Was interested in Fù Huì Huá but it’s so expensive. Now I suppose only the ultra-rich can afford special occasion restaurants in the Bay Area.

Out of town friend wanted to go to Sun Moon Studio, so I looked. $180 pp, but only 4 tables. Reservations hard to get.
