Has anyone been to the Sound Bistro which took over the old Lobster Roll location?
Once again, a new restaurant with no web site. I just don’t get it.
Yelp has totally inaccurate info on hours and days. Google less accurate.
Yelp has one “Rave” review which seems suspicious and one mediocre review.
When I called for the days and hours and asked about the lack of a web site I was told: “We’re working on it.” “Sort of like putting the cart before the horse.” I said.
A group of us will check it out for lunch Wednesday. We shall see.

I was supposed to meet a friend there last week, but I told her as far as I know they are only open weekends until July 4. With the tourist season starting, I think I’ll wait for a weekday next month!.
Our little group had lunch at Sound Bistro and it was nearly excellent.
We had:
Chicken Caesar salad (chicken undercooked)
Hot lobster roll. Big chunks of lobster meat with butter and herbs.
Oyster Po Boy, with perfectly cooked oysters.
Seared tuna tacos, cooked and seasoned perfectly.
Regular lobster roll, cold with light mayo dressing and celery, excellent
Great tasting French fries with some of the meals.
Superb service and ambience with a nice crowd.
Reasonable prices.
We mentioned the undercooked chicken to our server and the owner came to our table to apologize and deleted the charge from our bill. He was very gracious and caring. A big plus.
We’ll be back.
