WORD is the latest hangout for the hip Singapore-Muslim/Malay crowd - serving well-prepared halal fast food items.

I tried the Handsome Burg this afternoon: beef burger with peanut-sambal sauce on a soft rainbow bagel, accompanied by herbed fries. All very good.

Turkey “bacon” - it’s a Muslim place, so have to use halal substitute.
