Last day in Sinagpore, final lunch???
Victor’s Kitchen
We’d eaten here last year, true Hong Kong style in many ways, especially the taste! Signage touted all food is house-made, I am a believer!!
YuenYang. Hong Kong style Iced Coffee and Tea, thoughtfully served in a bowl of ice.
Iced Chinese Tea for wife. If you order Iced Tea, you will get Milk Tea, which costs MORE (gasp).
H.K. Style Pan Fried Cheong Fun with House XO sauce.
Ha Cheong (Shrimp Cheong Fun).
Sublime slippery goodness. Ho Wat (slippery)!!!
Crispy Golden Shrimp Rolls.
I thought quite delicious, wife thought not as good as back in SF.
GREAT Ha Gow and Siu Mai!! The true test of Hong Kong Yum Cha. Not quite as good Hong Kong, but close enough for me!
Steam Carrot Cake with XO Sauce (50cents for Extra Sauce).
Not a usual take on Carrot Cake, which is usually pan fried. Works for me!!
Vic’s Kitchen does not take credit cards, oops. We barely scraped enough SGD to finish with some Dan Tat’s and a hot Chinese Tea. Excellent final meal in Singapore!!!
Wanted to buy a jar of their EXCELLENT XO sauce, but alas, not enough money. Next time!!!
