[Singapore] Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse

Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse, located on Mohamed Sultan Road (near Robertson Quay), off River Valley Road, is very popular, especially among the Japanese/Korean expat community for its Bistecca alla Fiorentina: a charcoal-grilled steak. Using good quality either Australia Wagyu beef or Scottish Black Angus, these were cooked over a high temperature wood-fired grill to seal in the juices for their tender melt-in-the-mouth steaks, finished off with extra-virgin olive oil and salt.

We started off with the salumi platter:

For the next course, we opted for the risotto with mushrooms and Parmigiano -Reggiano.

My main was the grass-fed Scottish Black Angus, 45-day dry-aged rib-eye. I opted for medium.

We ordered a couple of sides to share - the Spinaci (creamed spinach with minced spicy sausage) and the Patate (layered beaked potatoes with fontina and prosciutto). Both were adequate.

Great place for drinks at the bar and to catch a good meal at the end of the day.
