I try to go back to where I was when I got up to go get X to see if I can remember again - sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn’t.
Oh, it always comes back to me the second I’m back where I started my … journey 
My favorite is when I’m in the kitchen and turn to a cabinet or drawer for . . . something 
Who among us has not turned on the flashlight on our phone to check under the coffee table/couch looking for our phone?
Cleaned their glasses so they can better see to find their glasses?
Taken off their hat to scratch their head, befuddled that they cannot locate the aforementioned hat?
I’ve never done any of those things. I’ve looked for sunglasses that were on my head, though.
